The view from the judge's box...
This program offers a comprehensive curriculum where participants and auditors can learn what trained judges are looking for in a dressage performance. The purpose of the program is to give everyone a broader insight into the evaluative techniques of judging dressage and to qualify individuals to judge schooling shows. The program provides a standard of education that is used nationwide. Passing this program with distinction is a prerequisite to enter the USEF’s “r” Judges Training Program.
But you don’t have to want to be a judge to receive the educational benefits of this program. This is a unique opportunity for everyone. Up to 30 participants may go through Part 1 of the program but only 10 participants may “test” in Part II and hopefully become an “L” graduate. If you don’t want to be a participant, you can audit the program and reap all information provided in the first three sessions. This is an invaluable learning opportunity for everyone that should not be missed!
