Utah Dressage Society News and Annoucements

The news just came in! Our Region 5 riders took Gold at the USDF/Platinum Performance North American Juniors and Young Rider's Dressage Championships!!! Way to go and congratulations to all our fine young riders. Left to right, Maddie Birch, Laura DeCesari, Brandi Roenick and Jhesika Wells.

Congratulations also to Eva Adolphi, she has been selected as a Delegate to the USDF Convention.

Due to health concerns, our UDS President will have to step down from her responsibilities on the Board. We are looking for a strong leader who would like to fill Stacey's shoes for the rest of her term. If you would like to be considered as an Interim President, please contact Stacey Ade at 801-712-9621.

UDS Meetings - New Style

In order to be more open and available for our members, we have decided to change our meetings. Our meeting location and agenda will be posted each month on the web (look under Agendas on the menu on the left) and in the Newsletter. The meetings will begin at 6:30 pm and we try to end them by 9:00 pm. The first 30 minutes (6:30-7pm) will be a working meeting for the board and then the meeting will be open to all members at 7:00pm   Members who wish to address the board need to send an e-mail to be put on the agenda one week in advance.  The last 15 minutes will be an open discussion. UDS BBQ & Bonfire POSTPONED!

Due to the busy summer and show season, we have postponed our BBQ & Bonfire until a date later in the fall. When the date is finalized, here is the plan. The UDS will provide the BBQ, hotdogs, the soft drinks and the entertainment. You just need to bring a side dish to share. The date TBA!
